The Vandals will be looking to rebound tonight on Senior Night as they will host North Mac.
The Vandals took an upset 41 to 33 loss last week on road at Staunton, as they fell to 5-2 on the season. Vandals Football Coach Jason Clay says he believes his players have answered the challenge this week in practice.
In their week 2 loss to Hillsboro, the Vandals struggled to defend the run. Hillsboro, though, as proven at 7-0 to be very strong running the football against all comers this year. The Vandals run defense has steadily improved since that game. But, the past few weeks has been a struggle against the pass. And, Coach Clay says fixing their pass defense is something they have to get done.
The Vandals come into tonight’s game at 5-2 on the season while North Mac is 1-6. Game time tonight is set for 7 pm. We’ll have the game for you, starting with the pre-game show about 25 minutes before the game, on 107.1 FM WKRV, available streaming at www.vandaliaradio.com and on the Vandalia Radio App.
