The South Central Cougars fell behind early and could not catch Windsor/Stew-Stras, falling to the Hatchets 11-1 on Monday afternoon. WSS got off to a hot start scoring 4 runs in the first inning and another run in the second to jump out to a 5-0 lead over the Cougars. That score held until the top of the fifth inning when the South Central got on the scoreboard with an RBI single from Colton Tockstein and cutting their deficit to 5-1. WSS broke the game open though in the bottom of the fifth with a 3-run frame before scoring three more runs in the sixth inning which put the run rule into effect and gave the Cougars the 11-1 loss. South Central is now 9-10 on the season. The Cougars be on the road again today to take on Brownstown-St. Elmo.
