Altamont boys golf beat Arcola and fell to Sullivan in a home triangular match at St. Elmo Golf Club on Monday while the Altamont girls finished fifth at the St. Anthony Girls Invitational at Cardinal Golf Course. In the boys match, the Indians shot a team score of 168 to finish just four strokes behind Arcola with 164 and ahead of Sullivan with 181. Sophomore Mason Schaub was the medalist runner-up for the match with a 40 to come in just one stroke off the leader.
For the Altamont girls, they finished the St. Anthony Invitational with a team score of 252. Senior Cecilia Pearcy was the top scorer for the Lady Indians with a 51.
