The South Central Cougars could not overcome 3 errors and were held hitless on Monday, falling to the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes 11-0. The Wooden Shoes scored a run in the first inning before breaking the game open with a 5-run second, taking a 6-0 lead. T-Town added 5 runs in the fourth inning and kept the Cougars off the board in the fifth, putting the 10-run rule into effect. The Cougars were held to three baserunners, with Aiden Hoover, Ryker Dodson, and Sebastian Kruger all reaching on walks. The loss drops South Central to 6-5 on the season. The Cougars will be back home on Tuesday for an NTC matchup with Windsor/Stew-Stras.
