Vandalia volleyball was handed a very big test in Staunton in their South Central Conference opener and the lady Vandals were unable to handle the Bulldogs falling in two sets 10-25, 14-25 on Thursday night. Vandalia drops to 3-3-2 on the season and starts SCC play at 0-1. The Lady Vandals will be right back in action today competing in the Montgomery County Invitational Tournament at Lincolnwood High School. They will play Ramsey at 5:45pm, Springfield Lanphier at 7:45pm and Lincolnwood at 8:45pm in pool play. Bracket play for the tournament will then be on Saturday.
