
The CHBC Bobcats fell behind early, and couldn’t keep up, falling to the St. Anthony Bulldogs 11-1 on Saturday morning. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the top of the first inning. The Bobcats responded in the top half of the inning when Kale Hardimon singled to lead off the frame and came around to score on a single from Zach Bennett to cut the deficit to 5-1. St. Anthony broke the game open in the top of the second inning though scoring 6 runs to extend their lead to 11-1. The Bobcats were held to three baserunners the rest of the way with Hardimon reaching on a walk and a single and Connor Vaughn reaching on a walk, but CHBC was unable to crack the scoreboard falling to St. Anthony 11-1. CHBC is now 0-4 on the season and 0-3 in the NTC. The Bobcats will be back home on Tuesday for a NTC matchup with Altamont.
