With a large lead already, the Cougars pushed seven more runs across home plate in the top of the third inning with a pair of runs coming in when Hoover reached base on an error on his line drive to right field, two more scoring on an RBI single from Strobel and three coming in on a succession of events on a wild pitch as South Central blew the game wide open for a 15-2 lead.
