Vandalia girls tennis picked up their second team win of the season pulling out a 5-4 win against Staunton-Bunker Hill on Thursday at Bunker Hill High School. The Lady Vandals got Singles wins from Emma Bauer, Bella Walk and Ciara Feezel to tie the match at 3-3 prior to the start of Doubles competition. Down one set to none in each of the three Doubles matches, the pair of Bauer and Walk at #1 Doubles and the pair of Daria Murray and Julianna Osborne at #3 Doubles both came back and got second set and tiebreaker wins to get the overall match wins and put the Lady Vandals ahead for the 5-4 win. The Lady Vandals are 2-4 on the season and will be back at home on Tuesday to take on Teutopolis.
