The Mulberry Grove Lady Aces picked up their first win of the season beating Christ Our Rock Lutheran in two sets 25-17, 28-26 on Tuesday in Centralia. Speaking on the match, Mulberry Grove Coach Denyse Blankenship says “the girls played this game with great energy. They communicated well and put up some smart plays.” The Lady Aces have a week off now before returning to action after Labor Day when they go on the road next Tuesday to face Patoka in Egyptian Illini Conference action.
