South Central volleyball bounced back from their first loss of the season late last week to go 3-0 and win the Championship at the First Annual Bearcat Bash at Christopher on Saturday. The new tournament, using a round robin setup, saw the Lady Cougars get three straight set wins as they beat Joppa Maple Grove in two sets 25-9, 25-10, beat Wayne City 25-18, 26-24 and beat host Christopher 25-16, 25-16. The three wins put South Central at 4-1 on the season and they will hit the road again on Tuesday to take on Cisne before being back at home on Thursday when they take on St. Elmo-Brownstown in National Trail Conference action.
