CHBC volleyball fought hard but came up just short in a three set loss at Dieterich as they opened National Trail Conference play for the season. The Lady Bobcats got off to a bit of a slow start dropping the first set 15-25 but battled back for a 25-20 win in the second set to even things up and force a deciding third set. CHBC and Dieterich took the set to extra points but the Lady Bobcats came up just short 26-28 to take the 2-1 let loss. CHBC is now 0-2 on the season and will be back on the road on Monday as they’ll attempt to get their first win of the season at Sandoval.
