South Central and Ramsey had an early season battle on Tuesday with the Lady Cougars beating the Lady Rams in three sets 25-18, 23-25, 25-17. The win has South Central off to a 1-0 start to the season while Ramsey falls to 1-1 on the season after their second straight night of three set battles. South Central has a tough matchup on Thursday when they host St. Anthony for their first National Trail Conference match of the season. Ramsey will be off until Friday when they host Mulberry Grove for their first Egyptian Illini Conference match of the season.
In the JV match, Ramsey beat South Central in 3 sets 25-19, 20-25, 15-12.
