Vandalia Football Red-White Night Set for Tonight

Vandalia football has been officially practicing for a week and a half and will showcase this year’s Varsity and Freshman-Sophomore squads in the annual Red-White Night Scrimmage tonight at Mark Greer Field. The event will begin at 6pm with the announcement of the Football Cheerleaders with the scrimmage getting underway at 6:10 with the Varsity team playing the first two 12-minute quarters. At 6:50 will be the Introduction of the Football team followed by the third and fourth quarters to be played by the Fresh-Soph team before wrapping up at about 7:45pm. The Vandals will then be back on the field on Friday, August 21 at 7pm when they host Carlinville for Week 1.
