South Central Lady Cougars Win Fifth Straight Regional Championship – The Lady Cougars again battled through a tough schedule in 2026 filled with several 2A and even a couple 3A opponents, playing to a 17-14 record. Their regional run was their top moment of the season as they outscored their opponents 28-0 and won their fifth straight regional championship. However, they fell to a dominant Casey-Westfield team 6-2 in the Sectional Semifinals to end their postseason run.
