Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Year:
Hannah Brown, Vandalia – The senior thrower ended her high school career with another dominant season. In the Shot Put, Browns took first place in nine of 11 regular season meets before claiming her second Sectional title and then turning in a 16th place finish in a very strong field at the IHSA 1A State Finals. Brown was equally good in the Discus as she finished in the top 2 in nine of 11 regular season meets and then took 5th place at the strong Newton Sectional. She finishes her career holding both the VCHS school records for Shot Put and Discus.
