Boys Track and Field Newcomer of the Year –
Kelton Dunaway, Altamont – The freshman distance runner competed in a variety of events for the Indians with the 1600m run and the 4×800 and 4×400 relays being his most competed in events. Dunaway shaved 15 seconds off of his mile time during the season and also ran the 3200m run a handful of times where he took over the ACHS freshman record in the event. He placed 7th in a stacked National Trail Conference in the 3200m run and took 10th in again a very stacked Newton Sectional in the 1600m run.
