Andrew Casey, Vandalia – The junior played in every game for the Vandals and anchored the infield at third base with a .928 fielding percentage and the lefty was just as strong at the plate hitting .351 with a .443 on base percentage. He tallied 33 hits, 27 RBI, 15 runs scored and stole 7 bases., On the mound, Casey made 11 appearances and had a 3-6 record with 52.2 IP and a 4.25 ERA.
Carson Milleville, Altamont – The sophomore had a much bigger role in his second high school season and put together a strong showing at the plate and on the mound. Milleville batted .309 with 25 hits, 15 RBI, 12 runs scored and a .341 OBP while stealing 6 bases. Milleville went 5-3 on the mound with a 2.81 ERA over 47.1 innings pitched picking up 41 strikeouts.
Jack Lewis, Vandalia – The senior was a big piece of the heart and leadership of the Vandals in his final season, splitting time on the mound and in the middle infield. Lewis made 13 pitching appearances going 5-6 with a 3.69 ERA over 62.2 innings pitched while racking up 52 strikeouts. At the plate, Lewis batted .260 BA with 25 hits, 15 RBI, 23 runs scored and 13 stolen bases. In the field, Lewis was again steady and reliable with his defense with a .947 fielding percentage.
Brayden Elam, Altamont – The senior first baseman was strong in his final season especially in the field with a .963 fielding percentage. At the plate, Elam had an equally strong season as he hit .301 with 22 hits of which 10 were extra base hits, 3 home runs and had 19 RBI and 19 runs scored. Elam ended with a .505 on base percentage and had 14 stolen bases.
Jayce Gillespie, BSE – The pitcher and infielder has a strong sophomore campaign hitting .344 with a .459 on base percentage, 21 hits, 12 RBI and 19 runs scored while stealing 9 bases. He made 11 mound appearances finishing with a 2-6 record and recording 41.1 innings pitched with a 4.40 ERA and 47 strikeouts.
Luke Shumate, South Central – The junior catcher anchored both the Cougars defense and offense this season. Shumate batted in the leadoff spot and hit .330 with a .445 on base percentage while racking up 30 hits, 12 RBI and 15 runs scored and swiping 11 bases.
Clive Schlanser, CHBC – The senior pitcher and infielder wrapped up his high school career with another strong year. Schlanser split time between baseball and track but still played in 19 games, hitting .382 with a .462 on base percentage. He had 26 hits, 12 runs scored, 11 RBI and 13 stolen bases. Schlanser also pitched 47.1 innings going 5-6 with a 3.85 ERA and 64 strikeouts and holding opposing hitters to a .219 average.
Zaine Miller, Altamont – The junior pitcher and infielder was a steady workhorse for the Indians playing in every game. Miller put in 56.1 innings of work on the mound, going 3-5 with a 2.72 ERA and 51 strikeouts. He also hit .253 with a .452 OBP, 21 hits, 14 RBI, 22 runs scored and 10 SB. He also put together a strong .932 fielding percentage for the season.
Ryker Dodson, South Central – The Cougar first baseman came back from injury and put together a strong sophomore season batting .297 with a .381 on base percentage. Dodson collected 27 hits, 13 RBI and 15 runs scored.
Zayden Gillespie, BSE – Despite battling an injury for a portion of the season that took him out of 6 games, the shortstop was a leader for the Bombers offensively and defensively. Gillespie hit .302 with a .400 on base percentage and tallied 13 hits, 8 RBI and 12 runs scored. He made 8 mound appearances with a 3-2 record pitching 27.1 innings with a 4.61 ERA and tallying 31 strikeouts.
Hudson Moore, South Central – The senior centerfielder had another strong season for the Cougars hitting .286 with a .423 on base percentage. Moore had 24 hits, 10 of those being extra base hits with 15 RBI, 24 runs scored and 13 SB.
Lucas Powell, BSE – The senior centerfielder had his strongest season for the Bombers in his final year. Powell hit .291 with a .371 on base percentage, 16 hits, 14 RBI, 10 runs scored and 10 stolen bases.
Ben Askins, CHBC – The Bobcat first baseman was a tough out for CHBC hitting .385 with a .524 on base percentage, 25 hits, 14 RBI, 18 runs scored and 5 SB. Askins was again a steady hand in the infield as he also put together a .954 fielding percentage for the season.
Zion Morrison, Ramsey-Mulberry Grove – The Rams centerfielder played in every game for Ramsey-Mulberry Grove hitting .324 with a .444 on base percentage He had 12 hits, 6 RBI, 9 runs scored and 4 stolen bases.
