Best Moment of the Season:
Dillon Hinton Captures First State Title as a Senior – Fourth time was a charm for Hinton as he won his first Individual State Championship, taking first at 157lbs as the IHSA 1A State Finals. After Hinton placed 5th at 132lbs in 2023, 2nd at 138lbs in 2024 and 3rd at 150lbs in 2025, Hinton went undefeated in the 2026 postseason as he made through the 157lb State Finals bracket to win the Championship by Decision, 4-0. After a celebratory slam of Head Coach Patrick Myers, the moment was made even more special as Hinton embraced his assistant coach and father Stuart Hinton on the mats to cap off his last Individual State Finals.
