Girls Wrestler of the Year:
Brynn Swyers – The senior leader for the Lady Vandals worked past an injury early in the season to pick up three top 3 finishes in four regular season tournaments taking 2nd Place at the Jacksonville Crimsons Girls Invitational, 3rd Place at the Carbondale Joe Murdale Tournament and 2nd Place at the Edwardsville 618 Scramble along with an 11th place finish at the Hoffman Estates Girls Hawk Invite. Swyers earned her 2nd Regional Championship taking the top spot at 170lbs at the Jacksonville Regional. Swyers will now take her wrestling to the collegiate level as she has signed to wrestle for Millikin University.
