The Egyptian Illini Conference Volleyball Tournament will open play for the first night of three days of competition at St. Elmo High School. St. Elmo-Brownstown is the tournament’s top seed with Ramsey at #2, Martinsville at #3, Patoka/Odin at #4, CHBC at #5 while Mulberry Grove is seeded sixth and Sandoval seventh to round out the teams. The tournament will open tonight with #6 Mulberry Grove and #7 Sandoval meeting in a play-in match at 4:30pm with the winner to go into Pool B along with Ramsey and Martinsville with Pool B playing on Tuesday. After the play-in tonight, Pool A play will get underway with SEB taking on CHBC at about 5:30pm followed by Patoka/Odin against CHBC and SEB taking on Patoka/Odin. The tournament’s final day will be on Thursday with the Fifth Place, Third Place and Championship matches.
