The Vandals will wrap up the regular season tonight, but it will feel more like the first round of the playoffs as they will play at Springfield Lanphier tonight.
The two teams connected up for tonight’s game because–first–the Vandals lost their game when Litchfield canceled their varsity season. And, later, when Decatur Eisenhower canceled their varsity season–leaving both teams without a game in Week 9.
Vandals Football Coach Jason Clay talks about the challenge of taking on the Lions tonight at their place.
It will be Homecoming night tonight for Lanphier. The Vandals come into the game at 6-2 on the season while Lanphier–the much larger school–come in at 0-8 on the year. Game time tonight is set for 7 pm. We will have the game for you–starting with the pre-game show about 25 minutes before game–on 107.1 FM WKRV, available streaming at www.vandaliaradio.com and on the Vandalia Radio App.
