Vandalia girls tennis finished 8th out of 10 teams on Saturday in the Centralia Invitational. Lady Vandals junior Bella Walk went 3-1 to account for all four of the Lady Vandals points and won the #1 Singles Consolation bracket. Walk picked up a 10-6 win over Greenville in her first match of the day before falling to Carbondale in her second match. In the Consolation bracket, Walk got wins over Centralia and Hillsboro to finish as the Consolation bracket winner. The Lady Vandals will return to action today as they go on the road for a South Central Conference matchup at Hillsboro.
