South Central went 2-2, Vandalia went 1-3 and CHBC finished 0-4 as the teams took fifth, seventh and eighth places at the annual Vandalia Volleyball Tournament on Saturday. South Central went 1-2 in pool play with a 25-8, 25-11 won over CHBC while falling to Salem 11-25, 21-25 and to Hillsboro 21-25, 22-25. The Lady Cougars beat North Clay 25-22, 25-17 in the Fifth Place match to wrap up their day. Vandalia was 0-3 in pool play falling to Carlyle 27-29, 14-25 to Fairfield 10-25, 19-25 and to North Clay 19-25, 15-25. The Lady Vandals matched up with CHBC in the Seventh Place match and got a 25-21, 25-23 win. CHBC suffered losses to Hillsboro 10-25, 11-25 to South Central 8-25, 11-25 and to Salem 21-25, 8-25 in pool play before falling to Vandalia in the Seventh Place match.
