
The Ramsey Rams scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning and held on to earn their first win of the fall season, 6-4 over the Odin/Patoka Warriors on Friday. The Warriors scored a run in the top of the third inning to take a 1-0 lead. That score held until the top of the fifth when the Rams took the lead off a 2-RBI double from Max Reiss, making the score 2-1. Everett Hicks scored on an error from Odin/Patoka, extending the lead to 3-1. The Eagles added a run in the fifth and sixth innings, tying the game at 3. Reiss gave the Rams the lead in the top of the seventh on a 2-RBI single, making the score 5-3. A bases-loaded hit-by-pitch to Waylon Brock extended the lead to 6-3. Odin/Patoka got a run back in the bottom of the seventh, but the Rams were able to prevent the Eagles from drawing closer, securing the 6-4 win. Ramsey is now 1-4 on the season. The Rams will be in action on Monday when they compete in the MTC vs EIC Tournament.
