After a long absence Vandalia High School has begun competition in Cross Country again. It has been many years since Vandalia last had an individual competitor but now has several athletes competing for the team. The Vandals opened their season this past Saturday at the Shelbyville Trail Invite, a regulation 3-mile race. The Vandals then competed in their second meet in Greenville at the Dave Holden Invitational on Tuesday on a course was shortened to 2 miles due to the heat. The Vandals will be back in competition next on Monday when they compete in the Nashville Invitational.
