Altamont Soccer Gets First Win of Season to Open Play In Own Tournament

Altamont soccer bounced back from a tough season opening loss a day earlier to grab a 2-0 win over Robinson on Tuesday to open play in their own Altamont Tournament. Indians senior Aiden Rosales drew a foul in the 17^th minute of the first half and connected on the penalty kick to put Altamont up 1-0. Shortly after, sophomore Quincy Niermann’s pass found Calvin Bannister who scored the Indians second goal of the game for a 2-0 lead which would hold as the final score. Altamont outshot Robinson 22-9 in the game and will now take their 1-1 record up against St. Anthony in the second game of the tournament on Thursday at 4:30pm.
