The Altamont Lady Indians suffered a two set loss to Lawrenceville in their season and home opener on Tuesday night. Altamont was able to grab a few early points in the first set, but Lawrenceville took advantage of a handful of Altamont hitting and receiving errors to pull away and take the first set 25-14. Altamont was able to flip the script in the second set and put down some timely hits and played off of a few Lawrenceville errors to take a 16-11 lead mid-match. Lawrenceville however went on a big 14-4 comeback run and took the second set 25-20 as Altamont was handed the two set loss. Altamont, at 0-1 to start the season, will hit the road for the first time on Thursday as they play at Carlyle before playing at home all next week.
