Vandalia Girls Tennis suffered a close 5-4 loss on the road at Roxana on Monday. The Lady Vandals got a pair of singles win in the match as Ciara Feezel won at #3 singles 6-0, 6-0 and Julianne Osborne won at #6 singles 6-4, 6-1. Daria Murray and Kylie Hawthorne, both came back from a first set loss to win the second set only to lose in close third set match tie breaks. The Lady Vandals moved into Doubles play needing to win all three doubles matchups to take the overall match win, but only picked up two wins. The #2 doubles team of Ciara Feezel and Kylie Hawthorn and the #3 doubles team Daria Murray and Julianne Osborne both picked up wins. The Lady Vandals will get right back at it today at Shelbyville.
