Altamont boys and girls golf were both in action Friday for a dual match at Clay County Country Club against Flora. On the boys side the Indians grabbed a three-stroke win over the Wolves, 166 to 169, with junior Evan Elam grabbing medalist honors with a 39 and sophomore Harrison Lash finished as the medalist runner-up by tiebreaker with a 41. On the girls side, the Lady Indians fell to the Wolfgals, 224 to 258, but senior Cecilia Pearcy was the medalist runner-up with a 55. The boys and girls both return to action on Monday at the Centennial Boys Incite in Champaign at Cardinal Golf Course against Teutopolis and Sandoval.
