Vandalia girls golf hit the road to begin their season and took fourth in a five-team match at Timber Lakes Golf Course in Staunton. The Lady Vandals finished with a team score of 254 coming in behind Staunton (189), Litchfield (223) and Hillsboro (225). Dakira Brown was the highest finishing golfer for Vandalia with a 54 to finish in fifth place overall. The Lady Vandals will have almost a week off before getting back on the road again on August 25 at Greenview Golf Course taking on Centralia and Okawville. They will have their home opener on August 27 when they host Sandoval and Ramsey at Vandalia Country Club.
