Jeni Haslett, SEB Volleyball – Haslett led the Lady Eagles to their third 20+ win season over the last four years as SEB finished the season at 20-13. The Lady Eagles were again the regular season and tournament champions in the Egyptian Illini Conference and took third place in this season’s National Trail Conference Tournament.
Jason Clay, Vandalia Football – For the second time in his 10 season tenure as head coach, the Vandals advanced to the 3rd round of the playoffs and finished their season with just one loss at 11-1. The Vandals picked up key wins against Greenville in the Pink Bowl and the 2nd round of the playoffs as well as getting a dominating first round playoff win over CZRE to highlight a record setting season for the Vandals.
