After a Comet touchdown had the Vandals trailing 11-8, Vandalia went on a 20-7 run over the last 9 minutes of the game with a touchdown run from Dillon Hinton, a touchdown run from Qwentyn Stombaugh and a receiving touchdown by Andrew Casey to cap off the 28-18 win that moved them to 6-0 on the season.
Second Round Playoff Win Over Greenville – Much like their first meeting against the Comets, the Vandals had their early game struggles and went into the locker room tied up at 14-14 at halftime. The Vandals charted a very different course in the second half in the playoffs though with four touchdowns as they ran away from the Comets for a 42-21 win and punched their ticket to the third round of the playoffs and still remaining undefeated at 11-0 on the season.
