The championship matchup for the Women’s College World Series is set, but it wasn’t easy to get there.
Texas had to beat Tennessee twice on Monday in the double elimination format to advance to the championship round again. Texas Tech then had to defeat Alabama twice to also advance for the rematch.
The Women’s College World Series takes a day off today, then Game 1 of the Championship Round will be tomorrow night at 7 pm. We will have the broadcast on AM 1500/104.7 FM/102.7 FM WPMB, available streaming at www.vandaliaradio.com and on the Vandalia Radio App.
