The Altamont Indians struggled offensively on Thursday, falling to the Cumberland Pirates 1-0 in the IHSA 1A Regional Semifinals. Altamont’s Zaine Miller and Cumberland Grady Jones combined for 5 scoreless innings before an RBI single from Jones gave the Pirates a 1-0 lead. The Indians were unable to get a man on base in the sixth and seventh innings, falling to Cumberland 1-0. Altamont ends its season with a record of 22-10.
