The Altamont Indians jumped out to an early 3-0 win, and never looked back, coming away with a 6-0 win over the Okaw Valley Timberwolves. The Indians got on the board in the bottom of the second inning when Kade Milleville grounded into a fielder’s choice, allowing Kale Davis to score, giving Altamont a 1-0 lead. One batter later, Cooper McManaway singled, allowing Milleville and Reardon to score, extending the Indians lead to 3-0. Altamont added on in the bottom of the third when Blake Berg had an RBI groundout, before a bases loaded walk from Milleville allowed Parker Bell to score, extending the lead to 5-0. The Indians got an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth on a bases-loaded hit by pitch to Kaiden Wolff, making the score 6-0, and Carson Milleville was able to work around a lead-off single from Okaw Valley, securing the 6-0 win. The victory improves the Indians to 21-9 on the season. Altamont will wrap up the regular season on Friday, when they host Edwards County.
