Despite being out-hit 5-3, the Altamont Indians used a 3-run fourth inning and a complete game shutout from Carson Milleville to come away with a 5-3 win over the Salem Wildcats. After three scoreless innings, Zaine Miller smoked a double to left field to score Kade Milleville, giving the Indians a 1-0 lead. Brayden Elam followed up with a single to score Cooper McManaway, making the lead 2-0, and Parker Bell added on with a groundout to score Miller, extending the Altamont lead to 3-0. That score held until the top of the seventh inning when the Indians got a pair of insurance runs on a 2-RBI double from Kade Milleville, making the score 5-0, before younger brother Carson Milleville set the Wildcats down in order, securing Altamont with the 5-0 win. The win improves the Indians to 19-8 on the season. Altamont will be back on the road today to take on Calhoun.
