Altamont Offense Struggles in Loss to Father McGivney


The Altamont Indians were held to two baserunners on Monday, falling to the Father McGivney Griffins 5-0. Zaine Miller and Father McGivney’s Grant Reed combined to allow five baserunners through the first five innings of play before the Griffins took a 3-0 lead in the top of the sixth. Father McGivney tacked on two more runs in the top of the seventh, extending their lead to 5-0. Kade Milleville accounted for the only baserunner for the Indians, walking in the first, and singling in the seventh. Altamont falls to 16-7 on the season. The Indians will be on the road Thursday to take on Greenville.
