South Central Goes 1-1 in Centralia Tournament


The South Central Cougars went 1-1 in the Centralia Tournament on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Centralia Orphans 9-2, before rebounding for a 5-2 win in 8 innings over the Valmeyer Pirates in their second game. Ryker Dodson went 2-4, including driving in the lone two runs for the Cougars in their loss to Centralia. Hudson Moore went 1-3 with a run scored, and Colton Tockstein drove in two runs in the win over Valmeyer. South Central is now 6-14 on the season. The Cougars will be back home on Monday to take on Windsor/Stew Stras.
