CHBC softball wrapped up regular season National Trail Conference play on Thursday suffering a 14-1 loss to Windsor/Stew-Stras on the road. The Lady Bobcats were able to grab the first run of the game, as a groundout by Brylie Prater scored Allison Shields for a 1-0 CHBC lead. That would be it for scoring for the Lady Bobcats in the game however as the Hatchets, one of two teams undefeated in conference play, put up seven first inning runs. That 7-1 lead was pushed to 9-1 by the end of the second inning and a five-run fourth inning for WSS made it 14-1 Hatchets which held as the final score. With the loss, CHBC drops to 2-14 on the season and finish regular season NTC play at 2-7. They will be in action again today as they host SEB in the first play-in game of the NTC Tournament playing at 4:15pm at Beecher City Park.
