Vandals Held to One Hit in SCC Loss to Pana


The Vandalia Vandals were held to one hit on Tuesday, falling to the Pana Panthers 5-0 in South Central Conference play. Pana scored two runs in the bottom of the first to take a 2-0 lead, before tacking on three runs in the bottom of the third to extend their lead to 5-0. The Vandals were held to just one hit, a single from Drew Jones in the top of the first inning, but were unable to take advantage of three walks and three errors from Pana, falling to the Panthers 5-0. The loss drops the Vandals to 10-10 on the season, and 1-5 in SCC play. Vandalia will play Pana again today.
