The Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats offense struggled on Wednesday, being held to just four hits in a 3-0 loss to the Neoga Indians. After three scoreless innings of play, the Indians would get on the board with a 2-run fourth inning to take a 2-0 lead. That score would hold until the top of the seventh inning when Neoga would tack on an insurance run to push their lead to 3-0. CHBC would get a lead off walk from Connor Vaughn to start the bottom of the second inning, but Vaughn would be stranded at first, as the Bobcats would go down quietly, falling to the Indians 3-0. The loss drops CHBC to 4-8 on the season. The Bobcats will be back at home today to take on Altamont.
