The Altamont Indians saw their 8-game winning streak come to an end on Tuesday, falling to the Tuscola Warriors 8-7 in 11 innings. Tuscola took an early 1-0 lead in the bottom fo the first inning, before tacking on 4 runs in the second to extend their lead to 5-0. Altamont battle back in the top of the third inning when Zaine Miller singled to score Kade Milleville, cutting the deficit to 5-1. A Cooper McManaway groundout would allow Miller to score, making the game 5-2, before RBI singles from Kaiden Wolff, and Kale Davis trimmed the lead to 5-4. The Indians tied the game in the top of the fourth inning with an RBI single from Miller, before a McManaway single gave Altamont a 6-5 lead. The Warriors would use back-to-back doubles in the bottom of the sixth inning to tie the game at 6. That score would hold until the top of the 11th inning when Brayden Elam smoked a solo homerun to give the Indians a 7-6 lead. Reed Stuemke would retire the first two batters in the bottom of the 11th, but Tuscola would put the tying run in scoring position with a single and a walk, before two consecutive singles would give the Warriors the 8-7 win. The loss drops Altamont to 11-5 on the season. The Indians will be on the road on Thursday to take on CHBC.
