A 2-run fifth inning, and a complete game shutout from Zaine Miller helped the Altamont Indians earn their fourth straight victory, coming away with a 3-0 win over the Neoga Indians on Monday. Altamont would break the scoreless tie in the bottom of the fifth inning, when a pair of walks and a sacrifice bunt would put runners at second and third for Kade Milleville, who would rip a double to centerfield to give Altamont a 2-0 lead. The Indians would get an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth on a Blake Berg single to give Altamont a 3-0 lead, and Miller would retire side to give Altamont the 3-0 win. The victory improves the Indians to 7-4 on the season. Altamont will be on the road on Tuesday to take on Ramsey-Mulberry Grove.
