BSE Hangs Tight at #4 in Latest AP Poll as Majority of Top 10 Stays Unchanged

Brownstown-St. Elmo girls basketball’s spot in the Associated Press 1A Girls Basketball poll stayed the same this week as they remain at #4 in the newest poll released on Wednesday. The Lady Bombers have went 4-0 since last week’s poll with an average margin of 37.5 points in those games. Unfortunately, the four teams combined records of 17-71 appeared to not help the Lady Bombers as they lost one vote going from 64 votes that they had last week to 63 votes this week in the poll. They will have a chance to try and get some quality wins in the last week and a half of the regular season as they take on St. Anthony tonight and then face 2A Paris on Tuesday before the final regular season poll comes out next Wednesday.
