Dieterich boys won the Championship of their own Dieterich Holiday Tournament while CHBC beat South Central in the Fifth Place game and Ramsey fell to Grayville on the Seventh Place game. Dieterich was able to take a 14-10 lead by the end of the first quarter, but trailed 27-20 at halftime. A 20-13 third quarter run tied the game up at 40-40 before a 9-4 scoring advantage in the fourth quarter gave the Maroons the five point win, 49-44. In the Fifth place game, CHBC outscored the South Central 12-7 in the first quarter before the two teams were nearly even in scoring in both the second and third quarters and the Bobcats maintained their lead over the Cougars 25-19 at halftime and led 37-30 to end the third quarter. A 19-15 fourth quarter advantage sealed the win for the Bobcats over the Cougars, 56-45. In the Seventh Place game, Ramsey fell behind early 26-18 and trailed Grayville 42-35 at halftime. A 34-27 run through the second half by the Bison would allow Grayville to pull away from the Rams and Ramsey was handed a 79-59 loss.
