Three Lady Vandals wrestlers competed in the Joe Bee Memorial Tournament this past Saturday held at Springfield Lanphier High School. Aydia White was the highest finisher, coming in 11th place at 145lbs. The Lady Vandals will be back in action this Saturday, competing at the Jacksonville Tournament.
Individual Recaps:
Briley Sefton – 115lbs: Sefton went 0-2 on the day as she was beat by Fall in 2:27 in the Preliminary Round and then suffering a loss by Major Decision in the Consolation Prelims.
Aydia White – 145lbs: White went 2-2 on the day and finished in 11th place. White lost in the Preliminary Round by Fall in 1:48 but then got a win by Fall in Consolation Round 1, winning by Fall in 4:53 before suffering a loss by Fall in 2:51 in Consolation Round 2. White then finished her day off with a win by Major Decision, 10-1, to cap off her day.
Marlee Carroll – 170lbs: Carroll went 0-3 on the day suffering a loss by Tech Fall in 3:30 in the Prelims before losing by Decision, 6-4, in Consolation Round 1. Carroll then lost by Fall in 4:34 in Consolation Round 2.
