SEB in Championship Semifinal, Ramsey Plays in Consolation Bracket Tonight at the St. Elmo Holiday Tournament

St. Elmo-Brownstown will try to earn a spot in the Championship game of their own tournament after missing out last year and Ramsey will look to break a four game losing streak when the two teams return to action tonight for the fourth night of the St. Elmo Holiday Tournament. The Eagles will try to return to the Championship game after winning the title in 2023, but falling in the semifinals last year by three points to miss out on the title game. They will have to get past last year’s Champions, the Cumberland Pirates, to get back in the game. SEB and Cumberland will play in the second semifinal game at 7:45pm tonight with the winner advancing to Saturday evening’s Championship game to take on Windsor/Stew-Stras who beat Hillsboro last night in the first semifinal game.

In tonight’s first game, Ramsey will be looking to rebound from a tough loss to Cumberland in the quarterfinals as they try to get into the win column for the second time this season. They will face Patoka-Odin in the second consolation semifinal at 6:15pm with the winner moving into Saturday’s Fifth Place game against CHBC while the losing team will move into the Seventh Place game on Saturday to take on Mulberry Grove.

And we will have the live broadcast of both of tonight’s games on 107.1 FM WKRV and streaming live at www.vandaliaradio.com and on the Vandalia Radio app.
