Current Altamont Girls Basketball senior standout Kaylee Lurkins signed her letter of intent on Monday afternoon to continue her academic and basketball career, signing with the Lake Land College Lady Lakers. Lurkins, who has grown up watching Lake Land Basketball games, says it is a dream come true to be able to commit to her moms alma mater.
Lurkins will be joining a Lake Land team that went 28-9 last season. Lurkins is looking to improve on a strong junior season that saw her average 11.3 points and 7.7 rebounds per game while being named first team all NTC, and the NTC all tournament team.
