The Vandals got an early lead over their rival and never looked back on their way to a 64 to 51 win at home on Tuesday night over the Pana Panthers.
The Vandals jumped out to an early lead with a 20 point 1st quarter and led 20 to 10 after the first period. The Vandals lead 36 to 25 at halftime and mostly maintained a double-digit led in the second half–only briefly seeing the lead fall to as few as 7 in the second half. The Vandals were able to put up the strong effort without leading scorer Tanner Robbins, who was out sick for the night. The Vandals shot the ball well from 3 point range, going 10 for 19 in the game. The Vandals are now 12-17 on the season and 4-4 in the South Central Conference. The Vandals will wrap up the regular season at home on Thursday versus the Gillespie Miners.
