Brownstown-St. Elmo fell at Neoga 6-3 in National Trail Conference baseball action on Friday. Neoga would score all the runs they would end up needing in a 4-run 2nd inning while BSE would put one run on the board in the third inning and two more in the fifth inning. Adam Atwood was charged with the loss on the mound for BSE going 5 2/3 innings and giving up 6 runs on 9 hits while striking out 7. Atwood would have 2 of BSE’s 5 hits in the game while Jarrett Pasley, Cade Schaub and Kyle Behl each had a hit apiece. BSE is now 7-8 on the season and 1-6 in the NTC. They will begin play in the Egyptian Illini Conference Tournament on Monday at home against CHBC at 4:15pm.
